Eve is a contemporary, multi genre opera based on a true story.
This evocative performance showcases dance, aerial, and a body of music written and composed by Anny Densmore with her son, Tony Owen. Eve weaves a compelling personal story about exploitation and liberation. Spinning trauma into transformative fine art, Eve shines a light on the cycle of domestic violence. Top Bay Area instrumentalists and vocalists present a score that spans genres from String quartet and piano, to R&B/Rock Band, Gospel, and Acapella with a libretto that provides a model for generational healing.
